Contact

UFOs here, aliens there, intelligent life on Mars, 3I/ATLAS—they’re coming…

No, they’re not coming; they were already here before us. Though not quite as we imagine them today. Or at least not as “certain forces” would have us believe!

There are “life forms” that the average person cannot see or comprehend with their mind, but they surround us constantly. They are not exactly “little green men from Mars,” but rather heavenly observers, and at times they are also messengers.

Is it dawning on you what I’m talking about here? That’s right, I’m talking about angels.

Reports of angels have existed since the dawn of humanity. Not least, cherubim guarded the entrance to the Garden of Eden. According to the biblical account in Genesis 3:24, cherubim (plural) were placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden to guard access to the Tree of Life.

The Holy Scriptures contain numerous accounts of angelic apparitions.

In Egypt, the “Angel of Death” swept through the land, killing every firstborn in the land who was not sheltered behind a door marked with the blood of a Passover lamb. The blood of the lamb was the only protection against death. Just as “the blood of Jesus” is the only protection against eternal damnation for us humans!

It was a single angel who passed through the camp of Israel’s enemies and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers! (2 Kings 19:35)

“Cherubim” are described as powerful beings who bear God’s throne or guard the entrance to the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 3:24, Ezekiel 10).

“Seraphim” are described in Isaiah 6:2–6 and stand directly before God’s throne to worship Him. The text speaks of “myriads” of angels—a number of angelic beings that is, by human standards, beyond counting.

These descriptions are, in principle, beyond human comprehension. Is it any wonder, then, that Joshua fell to the ground as though dead during an encounter with an angel? And Joshua was not the only one to whom this happened. (Joshua 5:14)

John, too, fell to the ground as though dead when an angel appeared to him and revealed to him, as it were, the future events of world history. There we also read the explicit warning NOT to worship or venerate an angel! Such veneration belongs to God alone!

Nor should we seek contact with angels, for that immediately opens the door to the occult! The only authorized point of contact for us humans is Jesus Christ! To Him we pray, and from Him comes our help. (Revelation 22:8–9)

We read of an angel who, from time to time, touched the Pool of Siloam, and then the next person to step into the water was healed of his illness. No matter what the illness was! (John 5:1–9)

When Jesus was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, the following happened: “And behold, one of those who were with Jesus reached out his hand, drew his sword, struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword back into its sheath! For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot ask my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen this way?’ (John 26:51–54)

A Roman legion usually consisted of 5,000 men, so Jesus was speaking here of 60,000 angels who would be ready to come to his aid immediately! And as we read earlier, a single angel is capable of taking on 185,000 soldiers. So we are talking here about an indescribable military force.

I would also like to emphasize that Jesus did not ask for help, but went willingly and fully aware to his execution. Why? He said to Peter: “But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen this way?” The Messiah’s death was necessary for the salvation of humanity! All the writings of the Old Testament confirm this. If Jesus had not died, there would be no salvation from hell!

Angels, by the way, are just like humans—a creation of God. However, they are not made of flesh and blood, but are spiritual beings who possess a body that can become visible. They can also pass through walls, for example. So it is pointless to speculate about what they are ultimately made of. They are made of something unknown to us here on Earth. That must suffice as an explanation.

Angels are sometimes described as “fiery beings,” but not exclusively so. There are different “kinds” of angels. The “kind” that I personally find most extraordinary is found in Zechariah 5:9: “Then I looked up and saw two women coming forward; the wind was under their wings, and they had wings like those of a stork. And they carried the ton between earth and heaven.”

As we can see, there are different kinds of angels. There are also different ranks in the angelic realm. There is a hierarchy in heaven that includes “commanders” and lower ranks.

In this regard, Daniel, chapter 10, is highly interesting: “And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel; Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.” (Daniel 10:4-14)

Here we see that the angelic realm is not merely superior to our visible, perceptible world, but that the fallen angels (demons) are engaged in a battle with the angels of God. Here, evil and good angels are fighting each other. The passage in Daniel leaves no room for doubt.

Now we have arrived at the actual topic of the day: “Contact.” If there is currently a great deal of hype surrounding the US government’s UFO files, then I would like to point out that such contacts do not involve inhabitants of other planets “coming in peace” (or perhaps not in peace).

If one is to believe all of this, then these are the same demons who, in the early days of human history, already posed as “gods” and were worshipped as such across the entire globe. We are talking here about the so-called “pagan religions.” These did not invent their ritual practices for fun, but were—and in some cases still are—controlled by these spiritual powers.

When we speak of the “end times” in the current situation, we should also remind ourselves that the world’s population is once again falling into a state of apostasy toward God, just as it was before the Flood.

The Bible puts it this way: “For as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For as they were in the days before the Flood—they were eating, drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage until the day Noah entered the ark; and they did not know until the Flood came and took them all away—so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.” (Matthew 24:37–42)

The phrase “as in the days of Noah” comes from Matthew 24:37–39 and describes a state of affairs prior to Jesus’ return that resembles the time of the Flood: carelessness, moral decay, and ignorance of God’s warnings. People went about their daily lives, eating, drinking, and marrying, until judgment came unexpectedly.

With these words of warning, I would like to conclude the topic of “contact.” In principle, contact has always been there; it is only that people continue to look in the wrong place to this day. Every living person need only offer a prayer directed to Jesus Christ, and contact with the “extraterrestrial” is established!

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” (1. Timothy 2:5)

“Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” (Psalm 50:15)

Maranatha, Amen.

(“Maranatha” is an Aramaic exclamation from early Christianity that means “Our Lord is coming” or “Our Lord, come!” It is an expression of hope and longing for the return of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, this term appears in the New Testament in 1. Corinthians 16:22)

God bless you.
