Indestructible Values

Valores Indestructibles

All of this has become even more real and important to me after God showed me a supernatural dream—a prophetic dream, like the one in Joel 3—that made it clear to me that we cannot take anything from this world into eternity… except other people’s souls!

I’d like to share this prophetic dream now so that you can form your own opinion about it. Before I do, I must say again that it was not an ordinary dream, but a prophetic dream given by God, through the Holy Spirit, and used to speak to people and to clarify matters. Such a dream cannot be compared to any ordinary dream.

In this dream, I had died and had just arrived in heaven. Jesus welcomed me at the entrance, and I entered paradise. As soon as I passed through the entrance, Jesus called me and asked:

“I have given you 60 or 70 years—what have you done with them?”

When I began to recount what I had done in my life (of course, only the good things), I realized that not much of it was of value to heaven. Everything I had accomplished, too, had no eternal value. Even many of my activities in the church had been a waste of time, because they were merely self-motivated efforts to obtain some blessings from God, but not much of it helped bring lost souls to heaven or bring them into contact with Christ, the Messiah.

At that moment I could see one thing very clearly, and Jesus said this to me: “Winning a lost soul would have brought eternal value! There is nothing you can take with you from Earth except the soul of another human being.” Then I woke up and knew immediately that I had to radically change something in my life and that I had to become a soul-winner.

I am certain that winning souls is the ultimate goal of any calling from God. No matter what work we do in the Kingdom of God, that goal must always be to win hearts for Jesus. What’s the point of holding the most wonderful worship services, listening to the best songs, and hearing the best sermons, when it’s all just for our own edification? We can all be overwhelmed with beautiful feelings, but outside, people are heading toward eternal destruction!

Yes, it’s good to have great services, but what about our lost coworkers and our Godless neighbors? Yet these people should be our “fields of eternal value.” Conclusion: It must always be essential to offer Jesus as the one and only true Savior from the sin, death, and condemnation of a lost world.

As long as our worship isn’t designed to win people for Jesus, we’ve missed the main point. Let’s not be like Cain, who thought he wasn’t responsible for his brother. If you’re not open to sharing your testimony about Jesus, many people will spend eternity in hell!

God bless you.
