Jesus didn’t enter Jerusalem on a random day
by Silas Martin Bollweg on Mon Mar 30 2026
The timing was exact.
In Exodus 12, God gave instructions for Passover:
On the 10th day of Nisan, each household was to select a lamb and keep it until the 14th day to be examined before it was sacrificed.
That’s important.
Because that’s the exact time Jesus entered Jerusalem.
Palm Sunday wasn’t just a moment of celebration. It was the presentation of the Lamb.
“Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” — John 1:29
From that day forward, Jesus was publicly seen, questioned, and examined by: • Pharisees • Sadducees • Herodians • Pilate • Herod • The crowds
And over and over again, the same conclusion came out:
“I find no fault in Him.”
Just like the Passover lamb—
He was inspected…
And found spotless.
The Lamb wasn’t chosen by man. He was sent by God.
And presented at the exact appointed time.
God bless you.
