Three different aspects that prove the existence of God

People keep asking me for proof of “the existence of God.” The way they ask this question, I can tell that they expect me not to have an answer, but they’ve come to the wrong place. I can name at least three biblical facts that prove the existence of God, and anyone who is willing to see the truth can understand these points.

Point 1:

Biblical prophecy

The biblical prophecies are unique, and there is no other book in the world that can claim even 1% of the accurately fulfilled prophecies that the Bible can.

It is only the Spirit of God who has the knowledge to predict the future as accurately as He does to His prophets. Why can He do this? Because God holds the future in His hands and controls it, manages it, and much more. Ultimately, God is “the future in person,” and sometimes He shows us things that will happen in the future and how He will handle and influence events. Prophecy is given to warn us and give us advice.

So it is good to read the Bible, because it helps us to be prepared for what is to come! And this is nothing new, because God has been communicating his “plan” to us since ancient times. For example: In the beginning, God proclaimed that “from the seed of the woman” (not from the man, so it includes the virgin birth!) the Redeemer, the Savior of the world, would come, and this happened in the person of Jesus Christ! (Genesis 3:15)

Listen to the first verses of the Gospels of Matthew and Luke: “But while he was thinking about this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel,’ which means, ‘God with us.’”

“And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesied, and said: Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited his people and prepared them for salvation, and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David, as he promised through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old: salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us; to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant, the oath he swore to our father Abraham, to give us, redeemed from the hand of our enemies, to serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life.”

The Bible contains about 6,400 prophecies, of which more than 3,200 have already been fulfilled with remarkable accuracy. The others refer to events in the near future and will soon be fulfilled. To give more than 3,200 prophecies that have been fulfilled exactly is a supernatural ability and is beyond human understanding. Only YHWH, the Creator, can predict the future so accurately and without error. This generation and the next two generations are generations that will witness the fulfillment of Bible prophecies.

The last 5 minutes on the “biblical clock” began with the “rebirth” of the nation of Israel in the very place where the nation was expelled 2000 years ago, and anyone who knows the Bible knew that from now on, things would really get going.

Increasing disasters are occurring, The “One World Government” (NWO) is forming, the “mark of the beast” without which no one can buy or sell, the great falling away from God, the decline of morals, rampant crime, and many other predicted things are taking their place right before our eyes, just as the Bible predicted for the time of the “last days.”

At this point, I like to remember the words of Jesus in Luke 21:28: “But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

To be clear, this redemption is only for the “bride of Christ,” that is, for those people who have consciously chosen to walk closely with Jesus in this life and to recognize him as God. Everyone else must go through “the time of tribulation”!

In Christian eschatology, the Great Tribulation (Greek: θλίψις μεγάλη, thlipsis megalē) is a period mentioned by Jesus in the Olivet Discourse as a sign that would occur at the end of time. In Revelation 7:14, “the great tribulation” (Greek: τῆς θλίψεως τῆς μεγάλης, literally “the tribulation, the great”) is used to indicate the time Jesus speaks of.

Matthew 24:21 and 29 use tribulation (θλίβω) in a context that refers to the afflictions of those who will be under pressure from siege and the catastrophes of war. (Wikipedia)

Point 2:

Israel

The existence of the people and nation of Israel is a clear act of God, and throughout Israel’s history, the hand of Yahweh was with them, commanding them, protecting them, and guiding them, even though they were often disobedient to Him!

The name “Israel” contains the name of God. “El” means ‘God’ and “Isra-El” means “God fights” or “God reigns.” The Bible is first and foremost “the Word of God to mankind,” but it also contains the entire history of the nation of Israel.

Almost all prophecies in the Old Testament are connected to Israel or are spoken against Israel’s enemies, and even all prophecies about Jesus Christ, the Messiah, and the end-time visions of the prophet Daniel are directly connected to Israel.

Yes, God the Creator was even directly involved in the birth of this nation! Israel was God’s idea!

Listen to what God personally said to Jacob in Genesis 32:26-29: “And the man said, ‘Let me go, for the dawn is breaking.’ But Jacob said, ‘I will not let you go unless you bless me.’ Then he asked him, ‘What is your name?’ He replied, ‘Jacob.’ And he said, ‘Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel.’”

In Isaiah, we read an outstanding prophecy about Israel’s return to their land after being scattered throughout the world.

Listen to this and then tell me it’s not a coincidence that the people of Israel are back in their promised land after 2,000 years of absence!

Isaiah 43:5-10: “Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back! Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. Bring forth the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears! Let all the nations come together, and let the peoples assemble! Who among them can proclaim this and tell us what happened in the past? Let them present their witnesses and justify themselves; then it will be heard and said, “It is true!” You are my witnesses, says the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.

Israel was, is, and always will be “a visible sign of God” in this transitory world!

Point 3:

The Creation

Regardless of what modern evolutionists have as “theories” about the creation of this planet, I will share with you what the Apostle Paul wrote to the early Christian church in Rome, and you can decide for yourself whom you would like to believe.

Here is Romans 1:16-32 for you: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” 

It is important to remember that everything in the world is subject to a law that, in every logical respect, contradicts the theory of evolution, according to which everything will become better. The “natural law of physical corruption” stands in stark contrast to this!

All in all, nothing gets better, but rather becomes corrupted and dies. Steel rusts, wood breaks and is eaten by worms, and this also applies to every living creature. Even rocks are crushed by earthquakes, entire cities become ghost towns, and nature overcomes man-made structures in such a way that one day they will disappear.

It is completely illogical to believe that under such circumstances the world will evolve into “something better” or “higher.” This idea is in fact a reworked pagan-Hindu way of thinking, nothing more. It is a wishful theory for people who do not believe in God, just to have something to trust in, but it is a deadly theory, and when their last day of life comes, they will see with their own eyes that they have built their house on sand and they will be lost for eternity because they rejected the only one who can save a soul from hell, the Lord Jesus Christ!

The main mistake that most people make is trying to understand the supernatural with their minds, which are only capable of comprehending four dimensions. How can these incapable minds understand a God whose dimensions we do not even know? But people try hard to understand how God could create heaven and earth in seven days. They try to understand how the Red Sea could be parted so that the Israelites could escape from the Egyptian army. They try to understand the virgin birth of Christ, his miracles, and his resurrection, and then have to give up and conclude that these must be fairy tales.

In Romans 10:9-11, we read this important note: “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, ‘Whoever believes in Him shall not be put to shame.’”

The problem is that humanity tries to understand the supernatural with the inadequate tool called the brain, but God has given us an instrument with which we can grasp Him and His Word, and that is the heart! Once you understand this, you are on the right track. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit always speaks to the heart and never to the human mind. So listen to what your heart is saying.

We all have a lifetime to ensure that on our last day we board the train that is going in the right direction. What a terrible awakening it will be for those whose train is moving toward the eternal abyss, with no turning back.

Therefore, let us make peace with the Lord Jesus Christ, who holds the future in his hands, who is the God of Israel and the Creator of all things. Let us bow our hearts before him and ask for his mercy upon us, Amen.
