Lord, have mercy on me

“And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.”  (Mark 10,46-52)

Friends, what a lovely story about the poor, blind bagger Bartimeo, I love it. I love how he did react when the people did tell him that the Lord Jesus is passing by and how he did set all his faith in Jesus and did call out loud to help him. He must have heared about the miracles that Jesus did all around and Bartimeo was not ashamed to ask him for help. He did not even stop to shout for Jesus when the people told him to shut up his mouth. No, Bartimeo took his chance with Jesus, and the Lord did respond in a big way. He did go to him and opend his eyes by a supernatural miracle.

I ask myself, if there are not much more blind people who should cry out for Jesus help, “Lord, have mercy on me!”

Today there are millions of blind people walking on this planet, not nessesary blind in the eyes but blind in the hearts, wich is a much more serious problem than a physical blindness, because a physical blindness is temporary, but spiritual blindness causes eternal death and condemnation! (1 Corinthians 16:22)

There are even much of spiritual blind people in the churches! They are not able to see who Jesucristo really is. They are not blind in the eyes but in the hearts.

Jesus himself told to the church in Laodicea: “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.” (Revelation 3: 17-18)

Bartimeo was blind in the eyes, but in his heart he could see that he needs Jesus to make his life complete, but today there are millions who dont aknowledge that they need Jesus in theire lifes. They think something like if God is a uncomfortable dictator and they better like to life without him and so they are automaticly under the dominion of Satan!

Listen, no one needs to invite the devil to be condemned, it is a logic effect that people are under control of the one or the other spiritual power, but they are too blind to see that and that is nothing to wonder about, Jesus himself did teach the people that “the God of this world” (Satan) has put blindness upon the people, so the majority of humanity are marionettes of Satan, they ruin theire own and other peoples lifes and did not even aknowledge that. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

But today is a big chance for a change!

Today, while you are reading theses lines Jesus is passing by your own life and you are free to take your chance and call out for him, to help you to see the truth. Don’t let other’s tell you to shut up like they did with blind Bartimeo, today is a lifetime chance to bring a positive change to your life!

Whoever you are, a big sinner, a good person, a Pastor, a Bishop or a Gouvernements ruler, I ask you right now to ask the Lord Jesus in prayer to reveal himself to you, to forgive your sin and to open the eyes of your heart to see who Jesucristo really is. He is the one who can make your life complete.

Listen, Jesus is not passing you by in his phisycal body, but by his Holy Spirit right now. Jesus gave us his word to send his Holy Spirit, wich will lead us into all truth, so we all have to ask Jesus for this premium blessing. (John 14:16-19)

Without the Holy Spirit we are lost creatures, too blind too see the supernatural truth of it all, not even able to divide if things come down from the devil or from God.

Millions are decieved because of that, they think they know everything and can manage everything by themself but they are just lost in blindness like Bartimeo was. Dont be one of them, come out of a stage of spiritual blindness.

I am myself a christian for more than 45 years and I still ask the Lord from time to time to have mercy on me and to show me how to walk the way of life in the right way. I know that I can’t make it by myself perfect and I do still many mistakes if I try to depend on myself or on “my expriance.”

We all depend on Gods mercy and leadership

Friend, whoever you are, do yourself a favor and make right now ok with Jesus and start into a new level of living a life that’s worth to be lived, plus to have a eternal target. Today is your chance, dont let Jesucristo pass your way without to do something for you!

I am not talking about to start some kind of a “strange, religeous life,” it was never our own righteousness what counts, its all depends on Gods forgiveness through Jesus Christ and to become a family member in Gods family, born new by the Spirit of God, that is a complete higher level than everything.

Jesus told us in John 6:37: “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.”
